In about 2 weeks I'll be making an order from BRS and thought why not see if we can get 10 people to order and we can all save some money...

If you're not familiar with how BRS does group buys all you need is 10 people to order anything and we all get group buy discounting and it ships to your own door so no shipping everything to 1 person's house and trying to arrange pickup... I mail the list of names and email addresses to them and they upgrade our accounts on a Tues and you have a week to place the order. And after that you get to keep their prefered customer pricing forever!!!

So if you already have prefered pricing is there any advantages to do it through this group buy?

I may be ordering stuff soon just wanted to see if there is an advantage or if it will be just helping others get into the prefered status.

I was wondering the same thing. I get a discount for being a preferred customer. Wasn't sure if it would save me any money or not to do a groupbuy.

The group buy pricing is better than the preferred customer pricing. It's not a huge difference but for example it's something like 10ish bucks cheaper for a RO/DI with the group buy rate over the preferred customer...

The group buy price for the 5 stage plus which is $199 and I'm assuming that's the one you're talking about is $189. And you don't have to be a member just pm me your full name and the email address associated with bulk reef supply...

The plan is I'm going to email the list next Monday and they'll activate the accounts to reflect the group buy pricing the following day and they'll be in effect for a full week till the next Tues...

Yes, they ship via UPS Ground and provide a tracking number.
