Anybody running an OM?

I'm thinking of buying an oceansmotions 4 way for my 210. I just don't like the look of powerheads in the display. Anybody here running one? I'm thinking of running it on a sequence reef dart under the stand to reduce the head pressure. I would like other peoples opinions bufore I buy one.
Thanks

I think they are a great product. Paul from OM runs a top notch customer service orriented business. I had a problem with my OM Squirt, which was technically my fault, and Paul made it right for me. I haven't actually run my squirt yet except for testing though so I can't comment on how the tank likes it. One thing to keep in mind is if it will be run on a closed loop then you will have very little head pressure. Closed loops don't have the same head issues as a pump returning from a sump.

I have a 4-way on my 350 and I love it! It's running it on a closed loop. Eventually I'm going to add another one on my return from my sump.

Hi,
I am running a super squirt which is plumbed like a scwd - I got tired of SCWDs breaking ..
I love it and Paul's customer service is the best. YOu can can't go wrong with an OM product. ...

One caution, I set one up but I had a problem with sand in the sump getting pumped into the OM at the time. Sand and OM's don't mix.

Paul was %100 helpful on the problem but I fried the motor in my troubles. Haven't gotton to contact him re: buying repair parts as I damaded it, it wasn't a design problem.

Awsome device, but be sure you don't run if your pump is sucking any sand at all.

Thanks for the tip I didn't think about the sand!!!

I would suggest checking with Paul about the sand thing. A grain or two might not be a problem, but at the time I had a bunch getting sucked up and pushed through the OM.

Also, In my prev post I mistyped making it look like I might have been saying I demanded something from Paul, I meant to say "I damaged it". Paul was really helpful with my problem and even called me directly within a day of my e-mail asking about the trouble I was having. If there's any question, Paul at OM was super good to deal with and I totally reccomend the product and his customer support. Contact him and I'm sure he will advise you well.

Thanks for the input everyone. I pretty sure I'm going with the 4 way on a closed loop. I will call Paul for some advice.
