I have Hydros that automates my RODI system and turns it on when the high and low water sensors are both dry and then shuts off when they are both wet. Hydros flushes the RO membrane for a minute at start up and then a minute every hour the RODI is running and it has been taking 3-5 hours to fill up the FW reservoir.
I have a bunch of normally open (N/O) and normally closed (N/C) solenoids from when I created a DIY auto-flush setup and want to use them to do an auto flush to help with TDS creep after the normal auto RO membrane flush.
Just curious if anyone does this additional set to try and get resins to last even longer and if so how long do you do it for?
