Anyone breeding clowns?

I got a nice pair of breeding clowns and I don’t intent to try and raise the fry. I’m looking for someone who’s already raising some. I’m wondering if I can give you batches of eggs on clay pots or rocks and you raise and keep them, in return I get a pair of juvi clowns back.

Is this possible without removing my clowns from my tank?

if yes, who’s interested?

Idk how feasible transferring eggs is. Seems like it would be difficult without seeing some loss. But maybe worth a shot. I'm not breeding anymore for the time being, Jon might be. Or @Bertoc928 picked a pair up from me to breed maybe he has room.

I just started again. My first clutch of picasso's is now 2 weeks old. I dont really have the room at the moment cause my phantom long fins have been laying regularly so I wanna keep things open for that. I appreciate the tag fella's.

On another note. I personally find the eggs to be more durable than what is said. If you are transferring the pot/eggs any real distance your deff gonna wanna get a battery or maybe converter in car to plug in a bubbler to keep the eggs tumbling during transfer. If it were me Id only transfer when it looks like hatch night. In my experience tumbling longer than 10hours usually kills the eggs.

Have you transfered eggs?
I've never actually tried it, just assume it'd be more trouble than it's worth.

But I'll add I tumbled mine for like 3 days, pulled my eggs too early and that was my best hatching clutch. Lol

I have pulled eggs from another tank before with success. When I pull my pots I pull them from tank and walk them to the other side of my house (30-40ft) out of water, then put them in hatch tank. I personally havent had any issues. I use an aggressive amount of bubbles for hatching so maybe thats the reason they dont last long for myself. Ive tried lessening the amount but with ill effects. Hatching and raising clowns is like skinning a cat far to many ways to get er done hahaha

Hopefully it comes through somewhat clear but this is a little snap shot of my current first attempt since my year or so hiatus.
