Normally I flush my input line when I notice my settings a fluctuating to make sure its clear.
last week I had an issue where the Trident was leaking internally. I traced it down to a clogged output line. The internal connector for all the input/output/regents is a simple connector which if your output line has any back pressure the lines pop out and you leak internally.
I guess I will be flushing both the input and output lines regularly now.
