Anyone get corals from MikeG?

Unfortunately I found out tonight when trading some corals with reefer125g that I have red bugs. They were only on one of the 5 acros that I was trading and it was the first frag I have given out. They are most likely on other corals in the tank and just wanted anyone who has gotten corals from me and not treated them before introduction to know what's going on. Hopefully they are confined to this one coral and were not spread around, but I felt an obligation to let people know. Looks like I will be picking up some more interceptor tomorrow.

Mike

Mike, I have some at my house.

Moe, you have red bugs? What are they living on?

Moe, do you have enough to sell 2 tablets? I need 1 to do the treatment on my main tank which is 3 cycles if I am correct and I need more for dipping new corals as I am almost out.

What's this "sell"?!?!
Just come by tomrrow evening or something.
If we meet have a MetroWest get together someplace, I'll bring you some Interceptor.

Have to atleast offer to buy. I hurt my back today, so I will see how I am doing tomorrow. I will try to catch up with you as soon as I can.

MikeG - I didn't buy any corals from you, but I applaud you for making this announcement.

Thanks Daire,

I would hope most people would let others know if they found something in thier tank that could have spread to others. I was actually shocked to find out because I have had several people look for parasites in my tank in the past and then starting treating all the corals I put in my system. Corals look healthy with good color and polyp extension. Makes me wonder if this is why I could never keep Larry Jacksons healthy as I believe they are one of the first corals to be affected from what I hear.

Hope the back is better, Mike.
BTW: ASCO convention was fun. Next year in Chicago - you should get the job to pay for your trip.

Mike, out of all the stuff that can happen, red bugs are easy to get rid of and really not a big deal. Use the interceptor and you will be back to normal in a couple of weeks. Not a big deal and really easy to get rid of the critters. Basically they just seem to really affect the tricolor sps. Out of all the things that can go wrong... this is the one I would choose out of all critters to infest.

If you need anyting, just contact me.

Thanks for the support Tammie, I know they are an easy fix. I am just a little worried about my manderin if I wipe out my pod population. I may have to try to find him a temporary home.

Did I miss something?

Moe, Glad to hear the seminar was good. Did you bring back any interesting reading material?

Tammie let slip an S bomb. I fixed it. No biggie.

I have tons of the abstracts from the studies presented. You're welcome to it.
I think I even have a CD. Then again, go here.

I am guessing that this is one in the center of the pic?
