I was wondering if anyone knows about these plants. I have seen them on a few sites and like the looks of them. but i never seen anyone talking about them. good, bad,or indifferent. TIA.

They are a calcerous algae, I also think they grow from a rhizome. They do look really cool. I had halmeida which is a cousin to this plant, keeping macros is fun, they grow really fast.

I tried them, didn't last too long. But, my tank was fairly new when I got them so... Read other people had pretty good luck.

My experience has been that they generally don't do well in our reef aquaria. They oftentimes become covered with hair algae. I think this occurs because they are a little bit tricky for snails and hermit crabs (the critters we usually use to control algae) to clean.
