Anyone have a par meter I can borrow for a day or two?

If you become a paid club member there is a club PAR meter you can borrow.

And for what it's worth:

1) A PAR meter will give you a general idea of your LEDs intensity but it's not exact. There is a calculation you really need to do to get it closer to what the LED reading actually is. Search the forums and you'll find it. Think I posted it before.

2) Most people start at 50% or so and adjust slowly upwards over a number of weeks/months. If you start too high you'll burn out your corals. When I ran my LEDs in the past I never went over 75%.

Good to know, thank you.
