This fish is about 5-6 inches long. He only eats very tiny aptasia. Not really interested in it at all.
The bad
He won’t eat flakes. Only eats frozen mysis or LRS.
He blows the sandbed constantly and basically created a mini cycle in my tank
The fish is extremely active I think it has ADD. I get up at 4 and he comes out of the rocks and is swimming up and down back and fourth pretty much 18 hours a day even if the lights are off.
The good
He is very tame will eat frozen mysis from your hand
It’s not aggressive but put my Yellow Tang and Flame Angel in check pretty much as soon as I put him in.
It loves nori sheets. Will go through 2 a day by itself. You need to fold the sheets as small as possible or it will pull it off the clip in about a minute.
This thing probably should have stayed in the ocean but now unfortunately it’s in my tank lol.
It probably needs a larger tank and a fowlr or no sandbed in its habitat. I have a deep blue 80.
If I had the space I’d keep it because it’s really an awesome fish but I can’t get any more tanks
If you want it and can give it a better setup than I have it’s yours. I could just dump it back at an LFS but then someone else would inherit these issues that I’m having.
