Aqua-Mags anyone heard of these?

at $7 a piece, theyre a little steep for me, especially when they're using magnets that are readily available for about $0.40

That being said, they look decent.

You just have to seal the magnets (in epoxy for example)

would you just paint the epoxy on to all the surfaces of the magnets ? This is a cool idea.

oh, and sorry for how dumb this sounds, but any speacial kind of epoxy ? Epoxy is glue of some kind right ?

Why don't you just glue the frag disks onto your tank? I do this on my back and side walls - regular ol' super glue gel. I have an acrylic tank - I'm not sure if it would be different for glass. But once it's covered in corraline, the super glue really grips on. Just hold it for 10 seconds and voila. It's a lot cheaper.

If you glued it, would you be able to take it off.

My main thought for this was to use it to mount to my overflow which I take apart time to time to clean-it's the hang on and I have never had a problem but like to due a cleaning every now and then so I would need to take the corals off that's why I was leaning toward using the magnets.

Tanya, once they encrust onto the overflow you won't be able to take them off anyways. Mrgaboozlebag (funny name!) - I've pried them off with a screwdriver before they encrusted. Once they encrust, it's like when they encrust on rocks - you can't remove them without damaging the coral.
