Aquarium plastic trim cracked

Hey everyone. I bought a 180 gallon a few years back and just put in my house and noticed some of the plastic trim is cracked. Should I be worried about filling it up????

yes you should , it will hold at first but it will be a bowfront lol

It's cracked on top corner n 3 spots on bottom plastic

I just bought a 40 breeder couple days ago,petco dpg sale. Got it home and realized the plastic trim was cracked. I exchanged it for a new tank. Better safe then sorry, especially with 180 gallons.

You may be able to brace it with aluminum angle, if you are worried about it. I redid my entire trim on a 55 that way. It worked out pretty well.

The trim is what keeps the entire tank from blowing out! I would either replace the trim or the tank!

Weldon 4 or 16 hope for the best....or buy a new tank for piece of mind.
