Attaching PH Probe to DIY Reactor?

Does anyone know the best way to plumb in the PH probe inline to a DIY calcium reactor?
Having some trouble finding the right fitting or making the right fitting for a leak proof probe fitting. What to use?
Currenly I have it sitting in the drip cup on the effluent side and want to fit it inline to the reactor for more accuracy.

Can you drill a hole on the lid? Probe should fit in those 1/2" John Guest/push connect.
