Bump. Free for paid members!

Long term, 18”x18”x24” tall terrarium set up. People do plastic plants and bridges and felt floors. Thst is the cheaper method initially. But long term, those need to be replaced more often.

Better to set up a bio active enclosure. Utilizes a clean up crew like a reef to break down decaying plant and fecal matter to run it through the nitrogen cycle in the drainage layer below the soil layer.

For that you need:
Tank
Soil mix
Clay balls(drainage)
Fiberglass window screen for between layers
Plants
Plant light
Heat lamp with ceramic heater
Misting bottle
1” pvc pipe, short length for siphoning off excess water until plants grow in enough to use the water.

Extras or replacements I would suggest to make life easier:
Auto misting system
Inkbird temp controller

If you want, I can always walk anyone through set up of these tanks and provide cultures of clean up crew. Spring tails(similar to pods) and rolls polies basically.

With this set up, I add RO water to the misting bucket once a week. And feed him powdered crestie food 3 times per week. That’s it…

Don’t mind the messy glass, but this is the basic set up.

Anyone wanting one, please let me know soon because I’m going to be selling them to a local reptile shop soon.

Bump, the reptile shop is being slow to get back to me if anyone is still interested.

Bump, I have 3 more that are up to the right size for adopting out! I'll post pictures of the last 3 later this afternoon.
