Bad sign, need to slow down

Well, I had an extremely aggressive neon dottyback once...use to shoot straight out and attack fish from the rocks and then retreat. Speared them 'til they died..had to get rid of it. Traded it to Living Sea and it still did that in the display tank..they couldn't keep much in that tank. Also, coral banded shrimp are known to be aggressive depending on their size.

Nate is right, I caught my coral banded eating my cleaner shrimp one day. I'm sure it wasn't dead before he got him. He got pretty big and nasty and would chase after some of the fish.

Hmmm!~

2 kind of mantis.#1 aka thumbsplitter they mostly eat snails, crabs...#2 Spearer eats/ attacks what it wants mostly fish!I have got rid of a few (8).Keeping the lime green until he misbehaves. If he is new to the tank it will take him several days to show himself.I do have a mantis trap you can borrow although they are so smart all had this thing for whacking the trap .either knocking it over or triping the door closed.Once they learned this they did it over and over and....never caught one with the trap.I've made some better traps than u can buy.imop and still caught nothing.

How did you get rid of 8 of them? Thanks

How big a mantis can cause problem?

The coral banded is small, he got along with the cleaner shrimp so far. Now he is the one that MIA now.

How big is that neon dottyback?
