i just read that the nmfs wants to make banggai cardinals listed as an endangered species. this would mean that they would no longer be available in the trade. there would not be a distinction between captive bred and wild banggais. apparently it would be too complicated to regulate the sale of banggais if they distinguished wild from captive bred. so what happens now if you already own banggais?
