Beating the odds

Sometime last night my male Bengi spit out his fry. At least one of the little guys ran the gauntlet in the 210, got past the hungry fish, made it to one of the overflows and down into the safety of the 30 gal fuge.
My Bengis breed on a regular basis, but this is only the third time any made it down stairs in 4 years. Most become free tank food.
I'll try to get some pictures up later.

Yea these guys are cool. They grow pretty fast in the fuge. Plenty of food and no competition.

I've been thinking about getting a pair off and on for a while and now I'm back on the wanting to get them kick... I would love to have them breed and try raising some in the fuge...

I started with 3. Two hung out together and one stayed by itself. The loner just disappeared with in a month.

They must be getting smarter. Four made it into the overflows and I managed to net two from the display. They are pretty cool little guys.

keep updating us with pics. I love those cardinals. I have one. He isn't anything fancy but one of my favorite fish. I just like his attitude and looks.

That's pretty cool...I also am on the fence on whether or not to add bangaii's to my DT. They are just so darn cute that little:)

how much for one once its all cool and will eat normal food lol

I would highly recommend them. They don't bother anything and the darting motion when they swim is neat. I've had this pair for around 4 1/2 years.

That's awesome that that many made it... Def keep us updated with pics...

Gonna sell any at the meeting? :p lol...
