Black dust on yellow tang

Please note that the thread is over 2 years old. There is nothing to do with the water quality in my tank. The tang is bought from Petco and that is the problem. The yellow tang is living with cleaner shrimp for the past two+ years and no black spot and no ich.

Right.... I said that your water quality was probably GOOD.......and that's why the tang was able to deal with the dreaded black spot.


I had no idea this thread was 2 years old though........how the hell did it get to the top again??

I did a search before I asked my question on black spots on my fish.
I found this thread, and posed the question for Dong before I treated.
