bleaching live rock

Yes bleach it rinse it a couple of times. Then dry it in the sun until all the bleach dissipates then throw it in a barrel and cure and cycle it. Why do you want to bleach it does it have some sort of pest on or in it?

well had bought a bunch from a guy and he had it sitting for a month then i bought it it sat for about a year n a half in styrofoam boxes i didnt know enough to barrel it n cycle then , so alot of it got moldy i guess . so i was told that after i bleach it it would never b alive again would just b base rock . so will it b alive again?

yes it will follow whats turbo said and it will be fine all rock in the tank will eventually become live u do need to cycle it tho

I did it many times .
Here is how I did it.
Put all rocks in a barrel and bleach them overnight.
Next day, rinse with water
submerse the rocks in new tab water for 1 day
Next, rinse the rocks
Next, submerse rocks in water with baking soda for 1 day
Next, rinse the rocks with tab water
Next, submerse the rocks in the bucket with clean tab water for a couple of days
Next, rinse the rocks, let it dry for 7 day

Final: start curing the rocks

Bleach the rocks sure will make the rocks very clean
After one day, rinse them
