BM200 has no drain plug, should I drill one?

Drilling the acrylic sounds risky, but I'm thinking as far as I'm concerned. I was going to ask about raising you skimmer in the sump, but you've got the gate valve mod.

BTW, I just picked up a RM 100 gallon stock tank. This thing is a beast. The BM is going to look tiny in it.

Gate valve or not the skimmer preforms best in 6-8" of water. It has to do with the amount of "head" the pump can handle. Paul can you post the measurements of the 100 gallon RM? I am looking at putting one into a space I have but don't know if it will fit. Thanks

Do you have the newer model with the built-in gate valve? Or is it external?

The RM tub is roughly 52.5" x 31.5" x 25.5"

Man, after looking at that tub, I'm just now realizing how big this tank that I want is going to be. It's a little intimidating.
