Bringing bleached anemone back

Strange that this nem is grey, ones ive nursed back were always translucent but still had faint really faint colors.

Has the anemone been moving around or has it been staying put?

Would you consider to move it and nurse it in a basket? My CSA was suck to the powerhead the next morning it was delivered. I thought it was a goner but its a specimen too expensive to throw away. I have been keeping it in a small basket on the top corner and feed daily. Im happy with her recovery so far

Wow, great work. It may be a good idea putting it in a basket making sure it eats all its food. What have you been feeding in the basket?

I use frozen food, nothing fancy. I blend cubes of mysis, krill and copepod in a cup of tank water. Let it sit for a while before i feed the anemone with the coral feeder/syringe

How long have the two anemones been together? Could they be fighting for territory? I recently came across this video talked about anemone fight.

Its strange one is doing well and the other one isnt when they are in the same tank. Are they also the same kind? I know anemones dont do well together if they are diff kind.

I totally agree with that!! I want to put a black widow with a rainbow nem. And I lost the black widow. I’ll never do that again. I hope your nem recovers. good luck Reefer

I hear ya I have heard it to that’s why I removed the rainbows. Only reason I didn’t remove the widows was I didn’t have a good place to put them and didn’t want them to die, cause I have been trading them for corals. This was back in September after it split. It’s a lot bigger than that again. I can try and get another pic sometime. View attachment 185835

Wow that’s a beautiful specimen

Definitely strange that its so different than the other nem. I find when they are moving a lot/ wandering they arent happy but not sure why where the other nem looks great. Maybe got infected during a split?
I actually bought them together out of the same tank. They never split. When I saw signs of illness I did treat with Cipro but to no avail. I'm starting to think maybe it got stung by a torch, sounds ridiculous but I'm out of ideas why he got that way. Maybe from treating the tank with vibrant? But the other one is fine. Every other Coral is fine also

my recommendation probably you should put him are her on a tank by itself to fully cure see what happens that’s my idea because on the wild there’s is space . Inside a fish tank there is not much space

There is a lot of toxins from different coral shooting into the water That’s why probably is best is having it inside of a tank by itself because that is expensive species
