two 150W Aquamedic pendants with XM 10K bulbs and two 39W T5's with ATI Blue+ in individual reflectors and a workhorse ballast.

yup standard 40B 36"x18". I had originally tried four and then five 39W T5s and did not like the colors I was getting on the corals so went to MH.

What are you running for LED's? I built some LEDs for my 2 gallon tank and am pretty impressed with the light they put out.

Just a cheap one-- but so far really great. It's 3w 55 lights over my 20 cube. Completely amazed by the colors coming from the coral in just six hours of being under them. Enchinata, previously brownish with a little purple -- was glowing purple in six hours.

Thanks, I think another year and it will look real nice. Guessing my basement tank will be about 2 more years before it looks like I want it to...
