Mobile Invert Photo Contest!
Well it's that time again, time for a Boston Reefers photo contest!
This will be the first contest on the new board so we'll see how it turns out...

This contest will be for the best mobile invert photo.
Whats a Mobile invert?
Snails, crabs, shrimp and so on...

Submissions must be emailed to BRS@littlereef.com
Do not post submissions in this thread!
contest will be totally anonymous
Pictures will be resized and posted in a new thread for voting.
Deadline for submissions is midnight July 17th.

A few rules...
1) You must be a BRS member to participate.
2) One submission per member.
3) Member must have taken the picture.
4) Rule are subject to change


There will be prizes so send those pictures in!!!
Remember Do not post submissions in this thread!

This sounds like great idea, I'm sure you see the great interest in photography both by those that enjoy taking photos, and those that enjoy looking at them on this forum.

Dave should there be a max width and height? Are you going to resize? I only ask cause it could be important with the pic to choose.

I will be resizing the images so that they are all are about the same size.

Small technicality Dave, there are some photoshop adjustments are size dependent, sharpening for example. It might be better to just tell us what size to submit. Also, image quality will suffer if jpgs are submitted and consequently resized. Or am I thinking too much about this?

I'm pretty good at resizing images with little quality loss. But if you would like to resize it yourself, the max width or hight will be 800 pixels. I will be optimizing the images also the image should not be more then 120 kb

The "link" is just an email address.... not a link. If you are having trouble you might have your default email client set up wrong.
