Ben has been professionally employed in the aquarium industry since 1995. From retail stores to wholesalers to a zookeeper at the Houston zoo, until he finally started his own company in 2004 and has been self-employed ever since. Ben owns and operates Captive Aquatic EcoSystems in Houston, Texas. He has spoken at a MACNA, several Aquashellas, and at Reefstock. He is also the co-host of the Reef Beef podcast.
