Awesome trip !!!! dont know how you guys were able to get home and post pics and such I think I was out cold within an hour after getting home( (had to get the update on the ones that stayed home andfeed the horse and pipe otherwise I wuld have hit the bed the minute I walked in ) Thank you everyone who took pics for me, we found the charged battery after everyone left our bus area. It was UNDER the car on the side of us
neat video
Heather couldn't even begin to figure out how it got under someones car. Sam thinks that maybe when he got out of the car it was somehow stuck on him. He found it while waiting for me and the girls to get back from Shaws once everyone pulled out. like u I am just glad it was found and that you all were able to help with the pics for the kids scrapbooks
It was a great time. It was interesting to meet people from other
clubs also.
Here are a couple of pictures of people from the area where
the different groups gathered.
One strategy, I found that did not work was wait until the
barbecue food line got shorter. There were a lot of people
from many clubs there.
There was some decent interaction between the clubs, at least I talked to quite a few. Although it would have been nice to have a little more formal intro of something to break the ice. But it was tough as we only had a few hours to see everything, eat and get our behind the scenes tour. The frag swap was wasn't very good other than Hiller who had as many frags with him as the whole group trades at one meeting. The turn out was impressive though and it would have been well worth bringing frags, as many were waiting ready to buy.
But still the time frames would have really limited things even more. If we had 1 hour more it would have been great, 2 would have made it perfect.
I think that with everything we do we can learn what everyone liked and didn't like and make it better next time around. Although it was a great time it will be pretty hard to top.
