BRS Road Trip ?

Hey all while at MACNA I learned of two events on the same weekend in CT that might make a worth while road trip.

First weekend of October 5th & 6th ?

Both the house of fins and exotic fish and corals are having big events.
HOF is a 50th Anniversary sale many manufactures reps, sale etc....
(their in Greenwich CT)
20 miles back in Milford
Exotic fish and corals having warehouse sale,cook out, DJ and all the trimmins

I know both places are well worth a trip...should be a good time!

that sounds like alot of fun. Ive been wanting to see Greenwich Aquaria too.

Might have to start dropping hints to the mrs.

With Greenwich Aquaria right down the street from HOF this is a definite road trip. Count me in. Are we doing some official planning or just all going on our own???

Might be interested in meeting up with everyone at these places. My parents live about 1-2 hour from greenwich. Keep me posted on this one.

I am interested in going. It would give me a chance to meet more BRS members, especially from the South Coast. Are we talking about a day trip, or the whole weekend? I have no idea how far away these places are.

Andrew and I would love to go but he has school on the 5th (Friday) and I'm leaving for Vegas on the 7th - if I'm packed (unlikely) we can go on the 6th.

We will be going down there sometime soon though - someone at MACNA told me there were 3 good stores to visit in that general local.

boy do I smell a road trip cookin' up hear...lol

we only have 2 weeks to plan this. Is someone gonna plan this or are we just gonna wing it. I am definitely going and would like to leave by 6-8 am.
I can drive, but prefer to ride with someone else. As my current car is not the most reliable.

OK so who is a definite
Who wants to drive? and how many can we fit in your car?
Where do we want to meet? and what time.
What is the gameplan? How many and which stores shall we swarm in on... I mean visit...lol

Sat. would be better for me too. I have been to H of Fins (both locations) but not the other 2. Do we know what day/time the "event(s)" are going on? Is there a wesite that describes them or gives more info?

I can drive, have a Van that should fit people comfortably. It's also reliable.

you guys don't miss exotic reef & fish in Milford.
I met Bob last weekend and was very impressed with his stock and prices at the show and he promises to blow that away on his event weekends.

As an example he had a Favia just like David McReefersons avatar it was probably ~4"x9" $150
If it wasn't for planning to take 2 days coming home it would have followed me!
