On Oct6 and we are ALL invited they estimate over one thousand

There will be vendors PRESENT to talk to hobbyist

To name a few ALL GLASS TANKS and OCEANIC’S
SEACHEM.HIKARI, KENT,MARINELAND SUNLIGHT

SOME OF THE VENDORS WILL BE GIVING AWAY FREE SAMPLES
AND WILL RAFFLE OFF ITEMS

HOUSES OF FINS WILL HAVE DOOR PRIZES AND RAFFLES
HOT DOGS AND OTHER FREE FOOD


IF YOU LIKE AQUARIUM GALLERY
THEN HOUSE OF FINS WILL BLOW YOU MIND

THEY SUGGEST JEST THAT WE GET THERE AROUND 10 AM
AS ALL THE GOOD STUFF WILL GO QUICKLY

Then go to GREENWICH AQUARIA and they will change your mind about who got the best reef tanks
In town this place will blow your mind

I'll drive... I can pick up people along the route. I'd be coming down 93. I also have a fairly large cargo area.

road trip plans

I just talked to b
and he will be the point person for the road trip
I have a bad cold and may have other commitments

but I will help lay out the plan
me and mike made the trip and ck it out
it took us 3hrs to get to house of fins doing 65mph

the party starts at house of fins at 10am
they suggested that we get there early for the best selections
will go fast


we should all try to meet at the Framingham rest stop on the MASS pike
try to do local pick ups for members who need a ride
we have done this on pass road trips and seems to work the best

anyone coming down from the south on 95 please pick a rest stop where
you would like to meet us and we and will meet you there


if we start to meet between 7-8 and leave at 8am
we should be just fine and arrive at 11am

house of fins is exit 3 off of 95
Greenwich Aquarium is at exit 5 heading north back home
and b said he would like to stop at bob in Milford on the way back
so we can plan accordingly once we decide when to leave house of fins

the next thing we need to do is start a list of who is coing and who can drive
and who will need a ride

I can keep track of that and post it

I'm happy to drive can take 4 people...I'm right on 95 at exit 34(burlington/Winn St)...anyone along that route wants to ride with me I can pick up anywhere between there and the final destination(maybe a little north as well if not tooo far.........)

But, above is the basic plan.

we should definitely leave the Framingham rest stop between 7:30 and 8:00.

If you would like to go but not drive the whole way, please post here. also post where you are from and if you need a ride(need to be picked up) or can meet at the rest stop off the MASS pike to meet up with a ride.

If you can drive the whole trip please PM me with the following;
where you are coming from
How many people you would like to take in your vehicle.


People coming from south of the MASS pike or do not think it makes sense to meet in Framingham for you. (as Joe said) Please decide on a meeting place off of 95 in CT and we can meet up there or just meet up at HOF around 11am

Anyone with questions please ask here or feel free to PM me. I would like to try and get this all squared away by the end of this weekend (yeah right who am I kidding we are talking about us reefers)
Then we can post a formal list and itinerary.

Sorry, I have not gotten to this sooner, I have had a couple of busy days.
So, the game plan would be as follows;


We would meet at the Framingham rest area on the Mass Pike west 7:00-7:30am
We would leave the Rest Area between 7:30-8:00 am

Arrive at House Of Fins (Greenwich,CT) at 10:30-11:00 am
Leave House of Fins 12:00-12:30 pm

Arrive at Greenwich Aquaria (Riverside, CT) at 12:15-12:45 pm
Leave Greenwich Aquaria 1:30-2:00 pm

Arrive at Bob's Exotic Fish and Coral (Milford, CT) at 2:30-3:00 pm
Leave Bob's Exotic 3:30-4:00 pm

*Now this is a point where we need to make a decision.
We can either go home from here (some people would continue on 95 and some would go 91)
Or we can all continue on 95 north and possibly go to 2 more stores???
I will continue assuming that we keep going.

Arrive at Fin and Feather (Groton, CT) 5:00-5:30 pm
Leave Fin and Feather 6:00-6:30 pm

Arrive at Rumford Pet Center (East Providence, RI) 8:30-9:00 pm
They close at 9:00pm so we could be cutting this one close.

It all depends on how the day goes and what everyone wants to do.
This is a tentative plan based on e few responses I have received.

Rich and I are planning on going. Not sure what time we will leave, so don't want to commit to car pooling plans yet.

I would be interested in joining the expedition, but would like to ride with someone else. My car isn't too happy about long trips since I took it to Virginia in August.

I live in Maynard, but am willing to travel 30-40 minutes or so to car pool, if no one close to me is going.
