how do i take care of this problem my bf came over looked at it and said i have it. I want it gone any help ould be great

Get lots of emerald crabs. They eat up this stuff like candy.

If the rock(s) that the bubbles are on are small enough and they are covered more than 10ish bubbles then I'd just throw it out or re-cure it again. If its only on one two or three rocks about one to two pounds each then its not much of a loss to throw away.( $20-$40 in rocks) or $10-20 in emeralds, and if they don't eat them all then you risk spreading of the bubble algea. In my last tank I had bubbles and three Em's and they never touched it once. But its up to you, I'd rather rid my tank of the algea totally instead of running the risk of having it spread to a huge rock with coral on it then you have to go with the Em's. And some LFS will take a rock back with bubbles for credit and put it in their curing tanks and re-sell it later

I have bubble algae also.
I put 2 emerald crabs in and they haven't touched it.It's been like 3 weeks now and I haven't seen one even at night.I pick off the large bubbles and try not to break them.Hopefully my lazy emeralds will show up(if they're not dead) and get to work.

thanks for the advice, i think i'm going to try the crabs only because i've become really attached to this piece of rock... haha... i know it sounds crazy, but it's a beautiful piece... if the crabs don't get the job done, i'll have to lose the rock... :-(

Well, you might have good luck with the crabs.
I can't lose the rock,I have a nice bunch of zoas I epoxied on there before the bubble algae broke out.
