Bubble Master skimmers

bigchippa

Talk to me Goose!
Anybody out there heard of these skimmers they are suppost to be new to the states and run a thread wheel. I think they are supost to be good any feed back or better any pixs out there of one in operation?

i have one chip, not sure if you saw it yesterday or not.
I had it breaking in for the last 2 weeks ,it has'nt really had a good test yet.I should be hooking it up on the 90 tonight

I didnt see that skimmer i wish i did thuogh when you say it has not got a good test yet? why not boken in or not cutting the mustard let me know all the details maybe call me im very interested! thank you chip

Yeah I read as much of that discusion as I could take and I was sold my BM-250 is going to be in my hands later next week! pretty sweet.

Cool! I've been considering one myself, in fact I almost pulled the trigger when ReefGeek was offering their "guinea pig" special, but I figured I'd wait to see how people liked them first.

Please post a review when you get it. I'd really be intersted to hear your impressions of the build quality, performance, etc.

shur thing I have a ER now and realy like it it is on a 135 gal system the new system is aprox 320 gal the price of a nice ER is alot more than I payed reef geek for the new toy with the positive reviews and endless praise and a sweet price it was a no brainer. This puppy skims up to 550 gal or supost to anyways and the minimal power draw is just icing on my cake. When it goes on line I will post pix maybe two weeks.

Aquarium Gallery also carries these skimmers, and from what I have heard if you factor in shipping the price is pretty much the same, plus, you will have the local shop to back it up. :) Give B a call.

Check with aquarium gallery,

I think they carry them.

Roadtrip, but it's nice to see something in person before buying. They looked awsome to me when I saw them, but I haven't seen one running yet.

I think I may end up getting one after i get my taxes back. Only thing is would be too much for a 20g with 20 sump? It would be on a 10g with a 5.5g sump for a little while too.

AG has 1 BM 250 dont know about smaller sizes the BM 250 is $749 plus shipping at RG and $800 at AG so pretty much a wash why I went with RG is he is getting me a 3rd generation BM the one at AG I belive is a 2nd generation the diffrence is the newer one has eliminated the o ring on the collecton cup and the cup sits tight in the body the skimmer its self is made out of a diffrent material than the 2nd generation. This is what RG said to me today these changes won't effect the performance of the two generations .

It started skimming 5 mins after i added 50lbs of dead rock.
Here is 24 hours worth

Very nice Liam. We'll send Moe by for a taste test.

I am going to DIY a thread wheel ASAP.

The casualness of that comment is frightening!

800 bucks?!?

<STICKER SHOCK!!> :o

Holy CRAP this is an expensive hobby when you go to bigger tanks.

What scares me about those things is that ATI goes in and out of biz and tends not to support past products when they are in one of their frequent financial situations.

You'd be looking at about $3K if you wanted to look at a skimmer with similar air draw from either Deltec, or H+S, etc.
