I have a few nice BTAs that are getting big and I’d like to split off for a friend. But I’m in no rush and would prefer to practice once or twice so I don’t accidentally kill one any of the ones I’m already very fond of. So I was looking to see if anyone had any medium sized ones they’d be interested in selling for around $20-30ish. You should know you aren’t sending them off to be butchered. I’m a scientist that’s done many dissections of various organisms and have been propagating corals successfully for a bit now so I will both take advice on how to do it but am pretty confident in my skills with a scalpel so I don’t foresee any issues. I also plan to let them acclimate in my tank for at least a month. I’m just planning ahead.

I have successfully fragged BTAs in the past and it's super easy. Just use super sharp razor blade and cut it right in half making sure you go right through the mouth.

I know @dz6t has a bunch of RBTAs and I think @Chris.Reef has some Hulk BTAs for sale as well...

If you wanna troop it out to Uxbridge you can have the one walking around my frag racks for $10.

I also had to cut one recently, just took a very sharp scissors and do a clean cut across the middle. They are hardy and just let them sit in a box to heal
