yeah i think i'm gonna try to do the 3 chromis and see where it goes from there. I was going to get a flame angel because they are such awesome looking fish but since i want a nice reef id rather have the corals. I think the schooling of the chromis would add some nice movement to watch in the tank.
I think for the anenome i will add that as one of the first things with my new lights so it can move around with knocking over all my corals and once that finds its home then add the other corals. I dont mind if my percs are in there alot of the time i think its cool to see them in there and more natural for them

does anybody know if the blue reef chromis school just like the blue/green chromis?

yeah i hope they do thought. They are in a small tank at the LFS and they school in there so hopefully they would in my tank also

BTA's fine
I have lots of friends with bta's with lots of corals and have one myself with corals and have never had major problems with them walking around too much. The only problems i have noticed are with pc's and bta's where the anemonie is always walking around looking for the metal halide light. I have more trouble with my clean up crew knocking corals over at night. And my clown cruises around the tank even though he sleeps and lives in my bta. Go for a nice rose bubble tip.

yeah thats what i want is a rbta....hopefully in the next few months my tank will be looking nice its too plain and empty right now. I was hoping the 3 chromis would fill the tnak nicely and give it alot of movement.

ONly about 10% said that they had to remove a flame angel because it was causing lots of trouble.

as long as you keep an eye on your nutrients, you'll be fine adding a few chromis. From what I hear though, you'll want to do the green over the blue reef, as the blue reef are more aggressive (think damsels). I've only ever had the green ones, and have never had a problem with them.
I've got a 38 too, and my nitrates are never over 5 with:
2 small tomato clowns hosting in an RBTA,
1 green chromis,
1 Potter's Angel
1 Solarensis Wrasse
1 Kupang Damsel
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Mandarin
1 Clam,
and lots of corals - mostly softies, zoos, shrooms, and LPS.
I do however, have a sump with a very good skimmer & a HOB fuge.
I agree with the idea of adding the RBTA before adding any prize corals - mine did move a little bit, and luckily didn't harm anything before finding it's permanent home. Before you get one though, make sure you cover your powerhead and filter intakes.

i went and got the 3 green chromis today. They seem to be doing fine and are schooling. None are picking on each other either. They have got my clowns to come out alot more and are swimming all together 
. But now my YWG is all by himself watching everyone else have a good time.

I've got a 10G sump & one of those "medium" hob fuges. got mine used. Not a ton of extra water volume, but it does the trick. I've got an ASM skimmer that pulls out some NASTY skimmate - puts my old skimmer to shame. That plus 10% weekly or bi-weekly water changes, and voila!
