can i keep a cleaner shrimp and a pistol shrimp in the same tank?

IME, yes. I have both and they could care less about each other.

I've read that pistol shrimp can kill other inverts after paralyzing them with the shock wave of their claw, but I have never witnessed this in my system.

I have sexy shrimp,cleaner shrimp and a fire shrimp all in one tank and they all get along.

thanks guys. i have heard about them killing cleaners before, i think theres actually a video on you tube about it, but it could be a different pistol species.

i bought a pistol and a YWG this weekend, but i wanted to get a cleaner shrimp soon also.

the pistol and the Goby are really fun to watch.
