Carpet Anemone please help!

Tanks about 6 months old. 0 ammonia, 0 nitrate, 0 nitrite. calcium is 430, ph. 8.4, Alk was low but have been slowly raising it with B-Ionic. No phos test yet. First time so far but have only had it for 3 days. And I have been arranging rock and disturbing him some. Maybe I just annoyed him and he closed up for the day. Though I havent been in the tank at all today.
I'm sorry to be so negative here, but I don't think it will make it. 
Hopefully, I'm wrong.
A carpet is definitely not the easiest anemone to keep. BTAs are somewhat easier.

Guess I will hope for the best. I have a very nice large RBTA that is frourishing in the tank. Only time will tell.

Actually, Haddonis are probably the one of the most hardy Anemones and easiest to keep after the Bubbletip and small rock anemones. Just keep your water parameters as constant as possible with no quick changes. I had one for around 5 years and finally removed him from the tank. The last time I saw it it was healthy and thriving at a LFS.
If you do not want it to grow out of control then DO NOT target feed it except occasionally. Good lighting and opportunistic feeding is best. If it shrinks then feed it a shrimp or two....these guys will consume their own flesh for energy in the absence of good lighting or opportunistic feeding.
These anemones are voracious fish eaters so if you have gobies or other small fish, they may not last long...

Woke up this AM and practically ran to the tank. The carpet looks great! No lights till 1pm but he's already inlflated, and mouth is back to normal. Maybe he was just taking a huge poop yesterday. Thanks guys and girls for the help.

Good news. You may also consider gettting a Clarkii Clown to host in the anemone. From what i have read regarding Haddonis, they do better with a hosting clownfish. Good luck, hope everything works out with the carpet.

I would get some clownfish to host it because it looks sweeeeeet. If this is true (which I think I've read somewhere as well) than that's just another great reason to get some clowns...

lol...yep looks good still. I would love to get a clown for it but I already have a large gold maroon clown that is extremely protective of my large RBTA. From what I have heard they gont get along.

I had a Haddoni and still have a Heteractis Magnifica Anemone in my tank. I kept the Haddoni at one end of the tank and the Heteractis on the opposite side. The Het hosts a pair of ocellaris clowns. The Had hosted a big fat Clarkii. Everything was fine for a while before the clarkii grew to her extra large size
. But then the fat Clarkii started venturing out of the Haddoni closer and closer to the Het. It got to the point that the Clarkii would spend all day harassing the smaller ocellaris clowns and one day bit into the dorsil fin of the female ocellaris. Then at night the Clarkii slept in the Haddoni. I got the clarkii a mate and things settled down until the small male mate died and it started all over again.
It could work but probably would not be a good choice especially in a smaller tank with the anemones closer together.
