Clam Spawning video

Hello all,

Just walked by my tank and noted it was cloudy - my clam is spawning again. Seems like every 2-3 months this happens. Any idea what triggers it - and why this one does it so often? thanks,

Way too big ....... lol

Over a foot long - really has outgrown the tank, but I've had him for 5 years. Thought about donating him to an aquarium .... not sure - he is, as they say, happy as a clam as high tide

The dust has cleared - here is a pic of the bug guy. The hawkfish in the frame was introduced at the same time - he spends most of the day perched on the clams mantle - which doesn't appear to bother him at this point.

It sounds like a baby, thats so weird. I didn't know clams make baby noises.
