How can you tell the difference between male and female clams?

I didn't know it before, but I do now base on what they releasing into the water. (trying to be careful of my words to make sure its kids friendly)


BTW, what i don't know if clams actually change sex like wrasses/anthias. Anyone have any idea on this matter?

Not at all, the thread is to have open discussion about clam reproduction and ramafications of having it happen in the tank. Any input is appreciated

I think my corals are full now.

I think it is the temperature swing.

Last time the flower anemone did the same thing in the same tank.

I don't think it is funny because I need to do another water change.
