Senior Toad Licker
Just got back from the Clams Direct lecture, given by Barry....and, wow, excellent lecture. I was expecting a very beginner style of lecture, but it was pretty in depth, speaking for about 1hr 45 min. He covered care, selection, some CITES issues, economics, clam troubleshooting, and an in depth discussion on pinched mantle its possible causes and remedies. The turnout was about 15 people total, in a classroom at a tech college that has one of the better views of a classic fall day on Casco Bay. Really glad I rolled out of bed and made the 10 minute trek from my house.
