Clear pvc pipes

I skimmed the sponsor forums but couldnt find an sponsors that sold clear pvc, or pvc for that matter. Do we have any?

I'm pretty sure they carry it, but it's generally not used....it tends to get clogged with algae. I think Tropic Isle had some the last time I was there.

Thats a good point. I guess a white pvc pipe would look better than a clear algae invested tube.

If you don't like the white pvc you can sometimes find black or grey PVC. Try Savko.com

You can always piant it.

You can safely paint PVC with Krylon Fusion spray paint.

I would really avoid clear tubes for the reasons mentioned above.

Usplastics.com sells white, grey and clear (which is actually blue tinted) PVC.

I agree, don't use the clear PVC for plumbing, because of algae growth AND the excessive cost... But it is quite handy for a lot of DIY stuff like Ca reactors and such.
