Boston Reefers is excited to announce that we will be holding a Club Meeting at Reef Exclusive on June 1st at 12pm-3pm. Alexander the owner of Reef Exclusive is very generous to open his doors up to The Boston Reefers paid members to hold our first of hopefully many club meetings. If your not a paid member you are welcome to attend and there will be an option to sign up and become a member. Reef Exclusive will be having some contest/giveaways more details to come. Watch for updates here to get the latest. The meeting will go over old and new business of the club and financials. We will try to get the meeting part over as fast as possible so you can enjoy the shop and awesome corals at Reef Exclusive. There will also be a table to restock on your Boston Reefers swag. There will be pizza and drinks served and more. If you’re a sponsor and would like to host a Boston Reefers meeting at your place please reach out to me through pm. Although I will not be able to attend this meeting, it’s nice to see the club getting back to this. We used to have monthly meetings religiously with frag swaps/sales, pizza, chat with other members, lectures from “professionals “, etc. I hope we continue on this path as I will be attending as soon as I get up and running.

Yes, I think all those ideas are great and have been discussed. As an officer for the club i agree with you, I would like to see a good turn out in Tewksbury, attendance wise so we continue to schedule more in person like this throughout the year.
I’d love to see the frag swap come back, I understand this time is a little more tricky being in a store. Unless maybe in the future implement a no cash exchange frag swap so then people still spend their money at the hosts store. Either way I can’t wait and will be there, if anyone has yet to visit reef exclusive now is the perfect opportunity!

Let’s get those votes in Reefers!
This makes it much easier also. You don’t have to spend time going to different peoples houses all the time everyone meets at the end and trades/sells frags. I really used to look forward to them. I’m really surprised the club has gone away from these.

I don’t think the club has gone away from the swaps and etc. Participation at these events is crucial for them to continue. Don’t forget the prices to rent these halls has doubled. How come your not attending this one?
