Hello all,

Today starts the 50 Gallon Innovative Marine AIO build.
This is not going to be your grandma's tank.. HI-Tech setup including the first project here.
My Water system, mixing and storage along with bottom bucket and salt storage..and if spacing works as planned. Frag station and workspace.

Update 1 - It's here
Look at the care in shipping.
The tank came in a giant wooden crate.... Black Friday will be un-crate day....While some of you are in line at 5am to get that special gift... mine has been specially delivered by Santa early.

Update 2
Busy week...

Tank install:
IM 50, IM APS Stand
Really rugged stand.. but; no back panel to mount Apex and other devices, power straps etc. So, cut a few pieces of plywood screwed them into back rails solved..will paint black after initial setup.

Equipment Install:
Apex Pro, Mighty Jet, 2 MP10s, Radion XR15 G6 Blue (second coming), IM skimmer, IM UV, IM 5 gal topoff with Hydro fill pump and Hi/Low sensors, JBJ 1/5 Chiller powered by AquaClear 30, IM Helio dual 100watt heaters, Chaeto fuge light. Intank basket, InTank Fuge basket...misc Printed Reef holders.
Excuse the cable management...will wrap it up once breaking in is completed and all equipment is verified working properly.

Live Sand, Rock, Water:
40lbs CaribSea Special Grade live sand
44lbs Reef Ready Soulutions Rock
R/O Water mixed with Instant Ocean Reef Crystals.

Now it's cycle time with Dr. Tims.

Update 4
Water Station
Completed ..
Can Fill R/O, Mix Salt, Move water from R/O to Salt station and distribute to bucket or tank.

Tray on Amazon...rubber. Just 1" up front to catch the drip and 3" in back when servicing tank..its 28" x 40" just enough for the chiller too.

Added a 4 Channel Doser today...
Introducing the Chihiros 4 channel Doser.

Really like this product, accessories and application. Easy and very configurable.
There's a great YouTube on this product and guys is very knowledgeable but he is very to the point and not winded. Sold me as I have had the Neptune Doser in past and for under $200 you get the 4 channel doser, 4 bottles, caddy for bottles, test vial, tubing, tubing holders, tank deliver holder and the App.

Update 6
Light upgrade... Now two XR15 G6 Blues
Need a shade for second light.

First inhabitants:
Florida Ricordea....will glue inplace after a week or so.. just resting on the sand bed.

Update 8
Hooked up a Ice Cap Medium CO2 scrubber.
It's using their media...and plumbed into a INM Medium Protein Skimmer.
I am happy to report in my setup it has increased the PH by .30 which has taken me from 7.85 to 8.15...in just 4 days... we will see where it shakes out...but very happy with the results.

I got similar results when I hooked up my scrubber. I actually took it off after I started the balling method as I saw my pH was up above 8.5 and now it's back to 8.3'ish. I plan to add a solenoid hooked up to my RKE to cycle between the scrubber and no scrubber to keep pH even more consistent but that is a ways away!

Update 9... Tired of the Ecotech rail system hogging rear tank real-estate and blocking AIO compartments ? Well stay tuned for my light rail build...plan is to build a single post rail system mounted to the wall...which will hold 2 Radion XR15's. Order from ZYLtech is on the way. Why Ecotech does not have an option avaliable is beyond me.

Par readings... tank is 30"L x 24"W x 16" Tall
Lights are 9" from water surface.
Lights two Radion XR15 G6 Blues at 80% AB+
Picture shows Par readings using a Seneye device with a wand and pumps completly off.
Very happy with results...

Update 11- Big update

Added the following:
1. Media Reactor - Added to run pretty much any resin...currently Phosbond for a minor Dino issue...its crushing it..so should be out of the woods soon.
2. Two EcoTech Battery backups for my MP10s
Minor Power outages should be a non issue.
3. JBJ Battery backup Air Pump
This unit has a plugged in Battery no need for D Cells etc..and it plugs into A C. to keep charged...If it's needed it's ready...tubing and airstones in packaging stored.
