If chop the top off a Colt tree about 2" above the base, the remainder will grow back?

yes I believe so. I chopped my kenya tree off a rock, pretty much left 1/8th of an inch and now its growing back.

Chop away... Stick a toothpic through the fragged part and glue the ends of the toothpic to some LR rubble and it will grow onto the rock...

part of my colt looks like it is tearing away there is a tear and that piece looks terrible now the whole thing is flooping. I have never fragged anything can I cut this piece off. Could this be contributing to why it is flopping over.
