Concerned about Goby's

I got a Rainfords Goby and a Hector Goby about a week ago from Skiptons. Since I have put them in my tank, they have been hiding inside the holes in my rocks. I saw one of them poke his head out the other day and then went right back in. My concern is if the die inside the rocks I wont know and wont be able to find them to get them out. I havent seen them out swimming in about 6-7 days. Any suggestions or things i should be concerned about.

my hector goby stayed in pretty much the same spot for the week i had him. when he died, the CUC had him stripped to nothing overnight.

i was hoping that wouldnt be the answer, i like them. i think they might be afraid of my damsel. when one poked his head out as soon as he saw the damsel he went back in

both arent good with aggressive tank mates mine died cuz of my clowns
