Considering a sea apple

Hey guys,
I am considering purchasing a sea apple for my reef tank. I am of course concerned about the idea that they can release posions to kill things in th etank when they get stressed. What else can you guys tell me about their behavior. Are they good critters for a reef? TIA

I don't know about a sea apple in a reef tank. Too much on the stake.
I wouldn't do it.

I did have that thought... Just did not know of serious of a problem it could potentially be.

most of the time i hear of them attempted in specimen only tanks, or in smaller reef tanks, not so much larger ones.

I wouldn't risk it in a tank your size, because like someone mentioned above, lots of live at stake there..

They also need to be target fed.

From what I have heard they also have a fairly high mortality rate (like a lot of linkias, etc.)

Thanks guys! I think that I will pass on this opprotunity. It is just not worth the risk of my investment.
