Controlling DC pump with a relay???

I have the RKE setup and controlling tank and have 4 different standby modes set up with the first 2 leaving the return pump on and 3 and 4 shutting everything off for water changes. Problem is I just replaced the batteries in the CoralBox battery backup so now if standby mode cuts power the pump still stays on and short of me finding one of the RK DPI modules that I can hook the pump into directly I need to find a way to still make it shut off with the battery backup setup.

Is it possible to wire in a relay between my Jebao DCT controller and the wire that goes to the pump (not power cord side) and then control the relay with one of the 0-10v ports on the RKE setup to have the relay let the pump stay on at say 0v and then when I hit a standby it goes to 10v and throws the relay so the pump shuts off?

I'd need to understand your application a bit better, but there are definitely relays that can take a 10V signal and open and close a switch.

Have a Jebao DCT6000 and an RKE and the Jebao has the CoralBox battery backup.

I would be looking to install a relay on the power cord going into the Jebao controller head on the power cord and have the 0-10v port on one of the modules change voltage depending on which standby mode I would click and have it cycle the relay to kill power even with it being hooked up to the battery backup.
