I running a Jebo 220 watts of lighting. I have a canopy on top of the tank with the cover being one piece. I would like to install cooling fans on top to help release some of the heat but need to know what would be my best bet in doing this .
Would like to know what type of fans and all.

Thanks
Ron

i bought some cumputer fans from a local electronics store and wired four 4" fans, two puling , two pushing, it works well and they were 120v so i just wired a plug end on the wire.

They make these computer fans that are rubber instead of the plastic.. i don't have them. I have the normal comp ones. I would get the rubber ones, much quieter.

Silnex fans are great IME. Very quiet and moving good are at the same time. Last at least a couple of yrs assuming they are installed properly.

down at the radioshack by the shaws in whitinsville they have 4 inch and 6 inch computer fans you could check out. i saw them when i was down there buying mini fans for my power compact light strip.

2nd the Silenx-type fans, but with a speed controller...check in newegg.com. IMO, stay away from the prefab fan setups like the one on ebay above, they never move any real volume of air and you can make better for 1/2 the money.
