WTB - Livestock Copperband

I've used nyaquatic and all things aquatic. I've lost alot of fish in shipping with nyaquatic but they do refund. Just felt bad flushing all the dead fish. But, the ones that arrive alive do very well. All things is good because you get to see the fish in the bag before leaving the store.

Now my 2 cents with copperbands. Those are on the list of difficult fish that don't ship/acclimate well. I would purchase one from an LFS thats actually eating and healthy.

I love using ny aquatics never a issue with a doa process or 14days. Have lost 2 of the 15 i have ordered and it's 20-30dollars more then local and I get 14days garenttee on my orders. I would rather the little more for a warrenty and not have to travel to get a fish that just landed out of a bag. I have done the get the fish local that just arrived for a deal with 2 sponsors now and lost 6-7. Not including my 9 anthias that I believe shark snaked on a few and can't ever get a real count and at 6... fish are always a risk imo. Last fish i bought on deal when I picked up the bag at the store I know he would not make the night since arrived alive I gotta take it and pay...Last time I will do that for sure. Paul if you gf is emotional over new fish loss like mine I ave noticed buying fish eating out of hobby tank or retail has way better success rate and it's worth it to me..

Thats exactly why I prefer to order online.. The insurance incase a fish doesn't make it is what Im in it for

Sorry for the loss but it was brick out!!! I woulda died too lol. I’m surprised they didn’t hold shipping, but let us know how the refund/credit process goes. It sounds pretty good with what @Spaceman said with his experiences.
Yeah it had 3 heat packs but that was obviously cold by the time it arrived to me. I was home when the package was delivered so atleast it didnt sit outside.

I disagree with automatic guarantee policies. Especially for online store livestock shipping. It drives a motive for the animals to be disposable on both ends. The buyer purchases a living thing with less concern over risk. The seller is driven to purchase stock, maintain and ship as low cost as possible.

My policy is that we start at no guarantees for either QT or non quarantined fish and build from there case by case. That way our customers are motivated to ask lots of questions and if they do have a loss, we can run tests, ask them lots of questions and then perhaps give a replacement if we find that there was no good reason for the loss. If there is a problem, we can work to fix it, then send them home with a new fish

Thats where I got my last one didn't make the night for $150..... hope you have better luck

Better then buying no gaurentee and getting zero back imo any day....
Got mine for 70. It’s made it 24 hours so far and is interested in black worms. Fingers crossed.

I've had decent success with shipping, but it's a crappy time of the year to do it. I try to do mine in the fall or in the spring when it's neither too cold or too hot.
