Coral Beauty Angel

arda

sohal tang
hi everyone last saturday i bought a coral beauty angel and i was wondering if it is a reef safe fish ?? i dont see him too often around but couple of my coral dosnt open like use to be and i did the tests they came out fine i am wondering if he might be nipping or something anyone has an idea if he might be? thank you

Most pygmy angels including the coral beauty are 50/50 at being reef safe. Some pick some don't. Some will learn to aquire a taste for something after being put in a tank.

My CB takes a nip now and again at corals.I make sure he always has some nori to eat and that seems to keep him occupied.

We haven't seen ours nip anything other than the rock work and glass. But...he's well fed. ;)

My corals seem much happier since removing the CB.

like said above most dwarf angels are a 50/50 chance but when they do nip it is mostly on lps type corals ( frogspawns, torch, brains etc....) keep him well fed and it may help if he is nipping

Moved to the current forum. :)

My Coral Beauty nips at all of my corals occasionally mostly the SPS. It seems as though he is just checking to see whether he likes it or not. He has not caused any problems as of yet.

mine died didnt eat at all good luck with ur investment
