I was bad and didn't record the names of the people I received these frags from. :o

The first one is a purple cap that was given to me at Cindy's (Flighty) cookout last year. Anyone know what kind of cap it is, or better yet, who brought it?

The next 2 are from last years beginners/frag class. One is a light blue rimmed cap and the other is a tan flesh, green polyp digi. I remember JayM donated the leather we split up but I don't remember who was kind enough to bring these.

Thanks for any leads and I apologize to those of you kind enough to donate these corals, I'm really bad with names.

We generally call the thin cup shaped corals in the club (and hobby) Montipora capricornis, even though they are probably more likely Montipora foliosa or related species. That cover the first two, just different color morphs. The last photo is green Montipora digitata, and there is also a small piece of an Acropora species in there on the left of the photo.

1 is a soloman island purple cap :)

Thanks for the info guys, while I'm actually trying to compile a list of who I received corals from in the past, I didn't realize that was a Soloman Island purple cap or more importantly that my caps might not really be capricornis at all. If we can't easily distinguish between capricornis, foliosa and tuberculosa would it be more appropriate to just call them "plating Montipora sp."?
