Coralline algae

Taking a couple tanks down coated with coralline algae. How do you guys recommend getting it off easy. Heard soaking in mixer of vinegar and water??

Use Citric Acid - available on Amazon. Cheaper, works as well, as doesn't leave any smell.

Agree, Citric Acid works well! Available at BRS as well.

Fresh razor blade for bull removal, vinegar for the remainder. Or as others said... citric probably smells a hella lot better!

I've never had success removing with a soaking without having to manual scrape it. Razor blade is your best bet.

A vinegar soak really softened it for me.

I think 1/2 cup per gallon of water. @dz6t ? Just a couple hours will probably be long enough, but maybe longer.
