Creature identification

Does anyone know what these are I was cleaning my sump and I pulled my bag of carbon out and I found these.
They look like shrimp to me but I am not sure

Looks like a giant amphipod to me. Is the body sort of compressed rather than round?

yes it kinda is.
should I be worried about these

Nah. They eat detritus. Good guys generally.
Edit: but I’ve never seen one so big! So it’s either an anomaly or maybe something else
