Cube build back on with 60 gallon

Returned the reef ready 45 gallon. B got me a 60 gallon and installed a glass-holes dot com 300gph overflow. The plumbing came out awesome. It's very quiet, only a little gurgling at the filter sock. I'll put another durso down there and that should take care of it. I bought a Current 150 watt MH pedant with 2x32 PC actinics and hanging arm kit for $229 from Marine Depot. It's discontinued and being liquidated. What a deal! I usually don't buy large capital purchases online because I want service after the sale but for 60% off and free hanging arm I can make an exception. Here's some pics of tank running with fresh water.

Not a big deal for me, never really thought of it. I drill a hole at the water line of the return so minimal water will flow back to 15 gallon sump.

looks good

Picking up 25lb of Macro Fiji Rock and borrowing a 50 gallon bucket from a couple reefers at BRASS. Looks like Sunday Oct. 25th is the big day.

looks good. glad everything worked out for you. Just finished stocking my 60 cube. will post some pic's. good luck, Peter

nice. Ive found the 60 gallon tank to be a great size. What rock structure are you planning on making? believe it or not theres a few different concepts to explore...overhang, pillar, rock mountain, ect.

Are you going to have a skimmer? if so which are you think ing of?

sweet cube

Nice lookin setup, im begining to like cubes more and more seeing pics like these. Whats the tank to the left of your new one? is that that one you returned?
