death of a fish

I lost my six line wrasse yesterday. I new it was coming because he had a hard time eating and was getting skinny. I think he was blind in one eye because he missed most of the food he went after.

Anyway, I got a call from my girlfriend when I was at work and she told me that he was dead and some snails and crabs were eating him. I was planning on removing the carcas when I got home but all that was left was bones. The scavangers in my tank devoured him.

Will leaving the bones foul my water or not ? They are picked clean of all flesh.

Sorry for your loss.....

The bones won't foul the tank, but since it was a lot of 'food', watch for a slight nutrient elevation
